henry is being put to sleep today... hashim took him just a bit ago. my heart is breaking.
i can't think ... i'm filled with tremendous sadness.
he was the best dog.

I am so sorry to hear this. It is so hard to part with them, isn't it?
However, in many ways I think that it is better this way than dragging things on to an inevitable conclusion that will be even worse for all, especially Henry. My mom once made the mistake of holding on too long and has regretted it ever since.
You are doing the right thing, even though it may not feel like it right now.

Oh Tania, I am so sorry you and Hashim and Naief had to lose such a sweetie. You rescued him and made him so happy with the prospect of being part of your family.
