Killer Puppy on the Loose

Imagine those headlines... and imagine a killer puppy looking like him..... awwww, who couldn't love a killer puppy looking as sweet as this!!

This is one pic from the birthday/Halloween party we went to this past Sat. It was so much fun and Naief really had a good time. He didn't cry one time, loved being around all the kids, and he even got to sit at the table like a big boy (in a booster seat) when we ate and had cake. He swung his little legs and seemed to be on a little heaven cloud.

One nice woman came up to me at the party and said that when she came in she actually thought Naief was a little dog and wondered when my friend, H, had gotten it. ;) I think the fact that Naief is still crawling really made the outfit! Not sure that everyone got the scary blood thing... but I did tell everyone he was a killer puppy... seeing that the theme was scary, atlho only the bday boy and his brother, and Naief, held firm to that. :)

I was really pleased at how well it went. I was worried he'd get tired, but he didn't really show any signs of that until the end. He loved all the toys and the balloons. I was worried that he might pop one in his hand or something, and even though he got ahold of a few, none popped... thank goodness. There was one little boy, in particular, who was so sweet to him. He'd come up and bring toys to Naief and even squat down to play w/ him. He was 19 mths and I found myself in amazement at the fact that this little boy didn't try to slap him in the face, kick him, pinch him or head butt 'em or anything (which is the case I'm usually up against)... not one child did anything mean to him... it was such a beautiful release... I can't even tell you how peaceful that was.... and all these kids were all around 2 yrs.

I really enjoyed the party and so did hubby ..... me, because there were other mommies to talk to and I was able to see that Naief is normal or behaving the way he should at this age, and hubby got to spend some quality time w/ the guys. I also found out that Qatar Airlines flies straight to the U.S. now. I didn't know this. You can pick up a flight outta Doha and fly right into D.C. No stops, nothing. This is good to know. I hate having a 7 or 8 hr layover in London.

btw... my dear friend, Puppy... I hope I did you proud w/ his outfit!! :) Next year we may do Chucky!!! he he heeeeeee

He's so adorable! Hardly a killer, though. What a cute costume. My son will be a ghost and my daughter a princess this year. Will have to email you the picture after Halloween.

Oh that little costume is adorable! I even like the idea of you dressing him up as Chucky! How fun! Those are always the best years for little costumes...and he's always smiling!! What a happy little boy!! xoxoxo

Oh my GOD he is so SWEEEEEET. And look at your talent in sewing. Tail is great, but ears are hard to notice :) I guess it is ears on his head? Anyways his own ears quite suits to his costume :)

my regards to fellow Naief who just joined the "Puppy" club.

Mashalla! That's the one word that came to my head when I first saw the pic, he's so adorable! Although killer puppies should be less cheerful, as such he's a killer puppy in disguise.. even scarier hehe

A picture that cute just has to be illegal!

He is the cutest killer puppy I've ever seen. What does he do, charm his victims to death? :P

I'm glad to hear the kids were good with him, and that he enjoyed himself throughout. He probably thought he was a "big kid" like the others.

Isn't my nephew the cutest little thing... glad you went and that YOU ALL had fun!

Who thought of a dalmation puppy? Hymn... wonder who?

jane, i'd LOVE to see a pic... please do send it. i love to see little kids dressed up, and i never realized how much fun it was for the parents until now. :)

kissyfur, thank you!! but i will say, he's not always smiling. like when he's having a t-total fit when i try to dress him or put on his diaper. he'd rather be naked as a blue jay :)

puppy, thank you my dear! the sewing is what took the longest. it took forever to hand sew that tail! and now, looking at his costume, i do wish i had made his ears bigger. at the time tho, they seemed like they'd be large enough.

princess, yeah, i think he's in disguise! :) i think like hasan... i think he'll be a lady killer. the girls already love him. and he flirts like crazy!! imagine ... and he's only 9 mths old.

olivia, once our computer or internet gets re-established, i'll post some more pics of the party. it made me feel so good that the kids were nice to him!

jahooni, yeah, but who sewed it??? but thanks for the idea my dear sister!

Say, Um Naief, have you ever considered seeing if you can sell that pic to a greeting card company? I'd say you could probably make a fortune!

moody, no, that thought never crossed my mind... hmmm... maybe i'll look into it... but really, i'm not even sure that i'd know how to even start that... but i'll check into it. :)

lulwa, thank you my dear. i knew i'd make you a baby lover! :) i'd love to get together.... think about it and let me know.

everybody else... thank you!!!!!

Sweetheart, I'd love to get together soon. :) How about when I'm back in Bahrain next? (I'm in London at the moment).
I agree with Moody Minstrel, I think you should consider that. He's a real cutie, and he'll break many many many hearts when he'd older (mashalla!)! Bless!

Awwwww, that is really gorgeous. Makes me think of my kids when they were that age, so seet and cute! Mykids are now 5 & 3 so they want to be treated like "grown-ups" already =(
I loved the time when they were your son's age. Enjoy every moment and treasure every thing. My advice: take pics, pics and lots of pics. I have stack loads of albums toremind me and them of their childhood!
Love,

soulsearch, thank you! i agree about the pics. we seem to take tons ourselves... but many are digital. we take a lot of video too... which i'm more thankful for. altho, i'd prefer more of it.

it's sad to see him growing so fast. i find myself, at times, looking at him and seeing a boy instead of a baby. it seems that time flies... and i'd much prefer it to slow down for a little while.
