Tooners, thus far you are the ONLY American I know to give any acknowledgement of this outrageous event on his or her blog site. I'm not sure what to make of that.

I'm still disgusted by the event (and equally disgusted with the current U.S. government, but I won't get into that) and I pray nothing like it will happen again.

you know, moody, i'm really surprised that i'm the only one thus far. i really expected to be the last. i think sometimes it's easier to just not think about it... makes the pain easier. i'm still disgusted too. we rented that movie United 93 the other evening... i couldn't watch it. i've been wanting to, but as soon as we put it in, it started w/ prayers in Arabic and i couldn't even listen to it. that was as far as we got then we switched it off. i don't want to see that movie Twin Towers or The Towers either. it's hard enough just seeing the footage of the planes flying into the bldgs that day... having to think about thru a whole movie... well, i can't imagine. did you know that olivia's cousins were there and one of them was on the 80th floor! he left when no one else would. it saved his life. just thinking about that really gets to me. i also feel total disgust for the u.s. govt. utter and complete disgust.

munther, yes, God bless them.

alfanan, thanks, love.

Our lack of reference probably meant that we are still so appalled that we can't find words to express that awesome gut feeling we felt that day, and still do. Yes, even from the distance of living in Australia, on that day, the fear started.

Ah, the silence was a great idea. Wish I had done the same....you saw what happened on my blog and I can't handle arguments.
