my husband's blog

ok, i don't do this often but i can't help myself today. the hubby has posted one of my all time favorite songs that he composed prob 4 yrs ago while we lived in lewisville, texas to his blog. it was composed and recorded after one of our kitties got hit by a car, which, to get personal, it's the first time he'd experienced the death of a pet... and he took it hard.... but the song that was produced outta the sadness is just so beautiful.... i've always found that sadness can bring so much creativity... am i the only one that sees this? i know that i paint best or write the best poetry when i'm depressed or sad... and it seems to be almost the same for him... can't say it is cuz he does do some good music on good days too! ;) btw, the song is called Little Velvet...

SO.....

for any of you that love music, check out the song he recently posted to his blog. it's an instrumental and so full of emotion. i love it. i could go on and on... but i'll let you guys take a listen for yourself. i hope you like it as much as me.

I have a cat story to tell myself. Tonight I rescued the cat off the conservatory roof next door through the window on the stairs here becuase they are at the same level. You are probably going, "What?" At this rate I am not sure I could bend my brain to blog anything that makes sense....

Am off to your hub's blog to listen to some muuusic.

I just listened to the track. I really liked it, and I posted a comment to that effect there, but I have a feeling I got locked in the spam stockade again...

Word verification poem:
How lovely it is, then, to see
Pussycat purring there on my knee,
Velvety and demure,
Intimate and secure,
Yet those damned claws are painful to me!

Tooner, Olivia,
Yesterday my husband witnessed a cat getting hit by a car and it looked just like our cat. I yelled at my husband for telling me about it. What was he thinking? I can't stand seing a fly struggling in the toilet!! He said (he hates cats) that he wanted to go back home after seing that and kiss the cat.

I like the music a lot :)
Did your husband compose anything for you? I blame my husband sometimes for not writing me letters like he used to :(

moody, i love the poem!! especially the ending. :) yeah, i think you're locked in spam... he's trying to fix it and, i think, solved it.. we shall see.

leiloutaoooohhh, i hate stories like this! can't stand seeing such, but it's such a part of life here... you see them all over the streets most days. and re: his music and writing things for me... i will admit that most of the songs on his 2nd album were written for me! :) except this one - it was for sammy.

i'm glad you guys like the music... the stuff he's working on now has lyrics... so i'm anxious to hear a lot of it.

Tooners,

i listened to the music, i liked it. It is kind of music that make u go deep in your thoughts and soul. That is what i hear it like. I dont know may be its only me. I would also describe it as a song where u realize how heavy the thought itself can be. I guess it’s a sound of guitar that make me feel that way. To sumup, I liked it, I like to go inside of my thoughts.

Well done to your husband,

Puppy
