Downtown Beirut

For any of you that might be interested in taking a tour of downtown Beirut... my husband put a vlog on his site (Alfanan's Radio) w/ footage of Beirut from our trip there last July. It has some nice footage of beautiful sites and it also shows the destruction caused from their last war. Also shows Hariri's memorial site.

Makes me wonder what it's all like now.

I saw a before/after preview on sabbah's blog http://sabbah.biz/mt of Beirut, its horrible of whats become of that place, just like iraq.

I'd say it's worse than Iraq because Lebanon was only just starting to come out from under Syria's thumb and muster some semblance of pride...

I really like your husband's blog (and yours). I like to get different perspectives on life in the Middle East and you and your husband have opened my eyes in yet another direction - thank you.

I will definitely come back and visit you again - all the best for your life in Bahrain!
