We watched this movie last night and, really, didn't know what to expect because it was a serious role for Jennifer Lopez and she hasn't played serious since she was w/ Ben Affleck and we all know how that turned out.
But, this movie was actually pretty good. It starred not only Jennifer Lopez but Robert Redford, Morgan Freeman, and a young girl named Becca Gardner. She is such a good little actress and really held up her own against the likes of Robert Redford and Morgan Freeman.
It's a story that's filled w/ warmth and heartache, and it took a good look at relationships and all the tangled webs within them. I love Robert Redford and have been a fan of his acting for a long time, so it was really nice to see him in a movie again. Morgan Freeman definitely didn't disappoint me (I love his stuff), and Jennifer Lopez was actually not bad at all. The last few movies of hers have been pretty good... sure did make a difference to get that monkey, known as Ben Affleck, off her back.
So, if you want a nice, feel-good movie, then try this one. It's not for everybody but I was actually impressed by it.
